What are Academic Sources? And how to refer them?

The Internet is flooded with tons of information, where you will face a lot of confusion about what to read and what to refer to. Good sources are not just about the type and origin of information, but also the relevance and how you want to use it. Is the information good enough to be used in the current situation? If you feel you are in this situation, this is the right place.  Our article on the Science vs Social Science debate As a researcher, finding appropriate sources and facts remains the most challenging aspect of it. European Refugee Crisis- A Podcast

Greetings to all listeners!!

Human Rights have been the hot topic of the previous decade. It will continue to be a hot topic as we go ahead. But the main reason Human Rights came into the mainstream discussion was Refugee Crisis. It is not a new concept, but found relevance in the last decade due to a series of events starting from the Syrian Civil War in 2011, then war against terror in Iraq, Libya, Yemen, parts of Africa etc. Although the debate of Refugee crisis grabbed global attention only after it reached Europe.

The first massive refugee crisis was soon after World War, after the massive destruction it created throughout Europe. That was when the 1951 Refugee Convention came into effect, later there was the 1967 Geneva Protocol. Now, we have seen another refugee crisis in Europe were refugees from the Middle East, Afghanistan, Africa etc came to the doorstep of Europe knocking the doors of the EU.

Today we are decoding the events leading to that, how Europe reacted, it's handling, consequences the present status and the future. Unlike previous podcasts, we will be following it in the form of Q&A. Most of the people are not so much aware of these topics. Even if people know about it, they have only partial knowledge of it. Our aim is not to give you news or events. We analyse them and provide you in a capsule format so as to enable you to understand the topic.

Compared to previous episodes, we have tried to include audience thoughts and audience questions into the podcast. I hope you all will be aware of this topic and will take back with you the best of what we have shared with you.
