The Congress party has been in the headlines in the country for the past five months, especially after a mixed bag of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. The party ex-President Rahul Gandhi undertook a massive Kanyakumari-Kashmir 4000 km foot yatra . It was called Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) which meant a journey to unite the country. The budget speech was held on 3rd April by the Financial Minister of Kerala K N Balagopal in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. The Economic Review report was presented in the Assembly on February 2, 2023. Mr Balagopal’s third Budget after taking over as Kerala’s Finance Minister. On February 1st 2023, the Finance Minister of India, Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman presented the financial budget for the financial year 2023-2024. It was a well-sought-after budget this time as the world is recovering from the biggest pandemic of the century as well as the war in Ukraine. On 31st January, the minister submitted the Economic Survey for the year  2022-2023.
