The Never Ending Debate on Reservation in India

When we say the word, reservation everyone means and refers specifically to caste-based reservation.  Reservation is applicable in educational institutions and in government jobs, PSUs, at the governmental level, politics, and administration. But in India, it opens up for a variety of debates in India on society, economics, and justice.  Why Reservation and specifically Caste-based Reservation? Countries around the world have various types of affirmative actions, and in India, it is primarily through reservation. Due to the backwardness and historic disadvantages faced, India has a system of caste-based reservation, enshrined in the Constitution of India, yet has been practised since the 1932 Poona Pact. Special Anniversaries and Celebrations of 2022

2022 has been a surprising year for everyone. Entering the third year of the pandemic, the situation has become normal for many while for others it has worsened or remained the same. Whether we like it or not, 2022 has had an impact on us. It will continue to have an impact, as we still have nine months to go. In the past, I had written an article on various political events which will take place in 2022 and their impact on international politics at large. 2022 has been declared the International Year of Glass by the United Nations. Why glass? It is a significant invention that is in use in multiple domains, especially in the industry and also as the world gets access to the internet through undersea optic fibre cables.
