Kerala Politics: Countdown to Elections 2026- A Podcast

Greetings to all listeners and readers!! Kerala Politics is undergoing a big churning with just ten months to go for the Kerala Assembly Elections 2026. Currently, the results of the Nilambur Elections have changed the dynamics of Politics in the state. Largely, the politics in Kerala has been centred around the UDF-LDF duopoly, but the rise of the BJP through Christian outreach, and the winning of Suresh Gopi MP in Thrissur. The ruling LDF is facing massive anti-incumbency, but at the same time is trying for an LDF 3.0. UDF, which has lost two successive Assembly elections, is trying to make a big comeback. Compared to ordinary Indian politics, we can understand that these are the five states which are somewhat isolated from the politics of the rest of India as well as the place where regional parties are strong.  Here we are focusing more on Kerala Politics for multiple reasons.
