Hits and Misses of Bharat Jodo Yatra

The Congress party has been in the headlines in the country for the past five months, especially after a mixed bag of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. The party ex-President Rahul Gandhi undertook a massive Kanyakumari-Kashmir 4000 km foot yatra . It was called Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) which meant a journey to unite the country. On 30th January, the yatra ended in Lal Chowk, Srinagar,  It was deemed as a massive makeover for the party. Beyond BJY, Congress was in the headlines for both right and wrong reasons. On February 1st 2023, the Finance Minister of India, Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman presented the financial budget for the financial year 2023-2024.
